An Emergency contract generated by the City of San Francisco required immediate review of existing conditions to determine and provide design options for pricing and approval. Documentation, permitting and construction were completed in less than 8 weeks. Design included new glazing and frame systems, paving, waterproofing and landscaping with irrigation. The new design also provided a more immersive experience, by using landscape of the specific zoo-geographic regions to spatially define the areas in front of each exhibit.
