CA Architects designed a new town center within an old historic city located in Central China. The new central business district is located on the waterfront and the master plan allows for the highest density uses in the center, while providing civic and institutional zoning along the waterfront. Green belts and pedestrian walkways link the districts to mitigate vehicular traffic and create a public amenity along the water’s edge.
